The Role:
As an HR Advisor at Majestic Wine, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our People Plan to life. You’ll be a trusted partner to our Central Support and Distribution teams, providing confident, practical advice on employee relations and people practices.

Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Watford. Our Head Office is based in Watford, just 20 minutes from London Euston. From Watford Junction, we are a 15-minute walk to our Head Office*

Key Responsibilities:
- Be a go-to expert for managers on employee relations, providing clear, commercial, and people-focused advice.
- Partner with the People, Talent, and L&D teams to ensure our managers are confident in applying policies and best practice.
- Help shape and evolve our HR policies and processes, bringing ideas to make things simpler, better, and more effective.
- Support the wider People Team with HR administration, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Support and continuously develop our central people software platform, ensuring it aligns with organisational needs by driving system enhancements, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating with HR and IT teams to improve functionality, data integrity, and user experience
- Use your initiative to identify improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous development.
- Build trusted relationships across the business and champion our values in every interaction.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Around 1–2 years’ HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-site retail or commercial setting.
- Working towards (or open to starting) your CIPD qualification.
- A great communicator who builds trust quickly and approaches challenges with positivity and curiosity.
- Confident in handling ER cases with discretion, empathy, and sound judgement.
- Organised, proactive, and ready to take ownership of your development.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and always looking for ways to make things better.
