Who are we?

Majestic is the UK’s largest specialist wine retailer, operating a network of over 200 stores nationwide. Founded in 1980, the company recently passed back into private ownership following the acquisition of Fortress Investment Group and has undergone an ambitious transformation and turnaround programme, including the recent acquisitions of Vagabond wine bars and Enotria&Coe. The results are now being seen, with record market share growth, a new and improved product range, a new website and new stores   with a pipeline for future expansion over the next five years. With no minimum purchase, the Majestic range includes over 1,100 different wines, spirits and beers both online and in store. The Role:

As Synergy Lead at Majestic, you will play a pivotal role in unlocking the buying value from our full range of products across our group structure. You will be responsible for identifying and delivering product focused buying synergies across all group businesses — from range consolidation and supplier alignment to cost efficiencies and commercial opportunities. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Head of Buying and Group Strategy you will lead cross functional initiatives that drive profitability, consistency, and smarter collaboration across our buying operations.

You will develop and execute a roadmap of synergy opportunities, ensuring they are commercially sound, operationally viable, and aligned with our wider business priorities. This will involve mapping overlaps in product and supplier relationships, creating new frameworks for group wide buying, and delivering programmes that improve margin, reduce duplication, and enhance the overall customer offer.  You will also play a key supporting role in wider group transformation efforts.
