The Role
As Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for supporting all recruitment across the Business, whether that is Retail, Commercial, the Distribution Centre or the Support Centre. You will also be responsible for developing the recruitment processes and practices across the Business, which will allow for a smoother and efficient recruitment process, including educating and supporting recruiting managers to understand their responsibilities in the process.
You will also work with the People Director to develop and execute the company's employer branding strategy to attract and retain top talent. With a team of 2 you will work closely with the wider HR and L&D teams, the Marketing and Digital department, and Senior leadership to create a compelling employer brand that resonates with candidates and employees alike. You will also be responsible, with the People Director, for building and maintaining the company's reputation as an employer of choice, engaging those looking to work at Majestic Wine as well as those current colleagues who are already here.
Key Responsibilities:
Take responsibility (with support from the People Director and Head of HR) for all Organisational recruitment.
Responsible for developing the appropriate recruitment processes and protocols to ensure a smooth process each time. Once developed this role will be responsible for communicating and continuing to influence the recruiting managers to ensure they follow due process.
Responsibility for developing expertise within the team on the various resourcing and assessment techniques to attract the best talent in the market
Support the People Director and Snr HRBP, Development & Engagement in developing and executing the company's employer branding strategy across all channels, including social media, career sites, job boards, and events.
Working with the Snr HRBP, Development & Engagement maintain great relationships and partnerships with those institutions, industry associations and organisations who are affiliated with the Wines and Spirits industry (e.g. WSET, Plumpton College, WSTA) to build the Company’s reputation as an employer of choice
Collaborate with the wider HR and L&D teams to create a consistent candidate experience that aligns with the company's culture and values, including process and system alignment.
Create compelling content, including videos, blog posts, and employee stories, to showcase the company's culture and employee value proposition.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in employer branding, recruitment, or related field.
Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing channels.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for different audiences.
The ability to engage and influence others well
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of employer branding initiatives.
Passion for creating an inclusive and diverse work environment.

Location: Watford. Our Head Office is based in Watford, just 20 minutes from London Euston. From Watford Junction, we are a 15-minute walk to our Head Office.
