The Role:

Supported by the Group Head of Internal Communications & Engagement, execute engaging internal communication and events in line with both the Majestic and Group Strategy

 

Job Specifics:  

  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Location: Watford - Our Head Office is based in Watford, just 20 minutes from London Euston. From Watford Junction, we are a 15-minute walk to our Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the Group Head of internal communications & Engagement and Retail Ops ensure delivery of the communications calendar for Majestic, creating cadence across the year.
  • Deliver inspiring comms that maintains focus on key business objectives.
  • In line with the agreed Strategy cascade key business messages via ‘The Press’, MBU, Dispatches and email updates.
  • Be the first point of contact for delivery of Majestic’s Internal events for the FY supported by the Group Head of Internal Comms & Engagement
  • Plan, manage and deliver engaging internal events, ensuring they are well executed and to budget.
  • Through the Majestic Retail Forums work with Majestic Retail Ops to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders in the Business Unit to help support them to deliver the plan of communication and events including MBUs, QBUs, Retail Conferences etc
  • Responsibility for ‘The Press’ in Majestic and ensuring it becomes a  means of communicating in an engaging and information way within Majestic

Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience

  • Ability to influence cross functionally at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise, with strong organisational skills.
  • Keeping calm under pressure, and ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects.
  • Dedicated and passionate about colleague engagement, and an understanding of how this impacts business performance.
  • Experience of managing budgets, events and projects.
  • Agile, and able to take on additional responsibilities to benefit the growth of the business.
  • Good judgement, not afraid to speak up, and professional with confidential/sensitive information.
  • Ability to communicate and understand importance of tone of voice for the author and audience of the Business Unit
