Role Purpose:
As a Reach Truck Driver, you will play a vital role at the heart of the business, ensuring colleagues are supplied with the stock they need to succeed in both retail and online operations.
As an experienced FLT Reach Driver, you will be confident in making decisions, have a keen eye for detail, and work efficiently to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. You will take pride in your punctuality and feel confident communicating effectively with your team and managers to keep operations running smoothly.
Job Specifics:
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week - Monday to Friday - shift work 06:00am to 14:00pm
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Work effectively as a member of the Warehouse Distribution Team, through effective and appropriate communication
- Accurately pick stock and move pallets, using our existing WMS via voice lead system
- Put stock away into appropriate locations and move pallets to and from the mezzanine floor
- Preparing and packing items for dispatch, accurately, on time and in accordance with instructions
- Ensure all completed store pallets that are dispatched from the DC meet the correct standards
- Adhere to all Company Health and Safety policies and documents
- Ensure that all housekeeping requirements are being met, such as cleaning of equipment and warehouse floor being cleared of any debris
- Performing warehouse inventory checks and participating in stock counts as necessary
- Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and goods in processes, if required
Knowledge & Skills:
- FLT Reach experience and FLT Reach license *Accredited qualification
- Experienced and comfortable working in multi level racking, up to 11 meters in height
- A flexible approach to working practices, being able to adapt to new circumstances as they arise
- A basic understanding of Warehouse Operations and processes

- Tidy and organised
- Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous
- Please note, from time to time this role involves physical work including lifting up to 15kg in a warehouse environment
