About Matt

Matt is one of the most experienced leaders in the UK on-trade, with a career spanning 25 years at some of the biggest names in wines and spirits. He joined Majestic in February 2025 as Managing Director of its rapidly growing B2B arm, Majestic Commercial, with overall responsibility for delivering on its growth strategy.

Matt previously served as Managing Director at both Fields, Morris & Verdin — the agency and B2B division of Berry Bros & Rudd — and Coe Vintners. Following the creation of Enotria&Coe in 2016, Matt was responsible for the enlarged organisation’s On-Trade division, which accounted for 80% of its sales business.

Prior to joining Majestic, Matt was Commercial Director at award-winning craft gin brand Sipsmith, where he held full responsibility for commercial and trade marketing delivery across all UK channels.
