Placement Programme

We offer one-year Retail Management Placements in our stores. During your placement you'll work in two different stores so you build an appreciation of different aspects of our business and hone your retail skills. As part of your placement we also sponsor you to take formal wine qualifications.

We don't wrap our Placement Trainee Managers in cotton wool. You're likely to be on your feet all day, enjoying the same kind of hands-on responsibilities our permanent Trainee Managers do. These include:

Working with a small team.
Developing great customer service skills.
Making deliveries to customers in the local area.
Building displays of wine.

To be eligible for one of our placements you must:

Be studying for a relevant degree e.g. Business Studies.
Be prepared to work for a year.
Be over 20 at the start of the placement.
Have held a valid UK driving licence for at least a year.
Have a keen interest in wine.
Be prepared to relocate.
