In-store training
In our fast-paced and physically challenging store environments we believe hands-on experience is hard to beat. As a Trainee Manager you’ll be involved in all aspects of running a store, which will develop your commercial, management and customer service skills, as well as building your knowledge of wine. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to get involved in, from helping train and coach new team members and to spend time with customers discussing the latest products.
Formal training
There’ll also be training days at our head office in Watford and at some stage within your first six months you’ll start working towards the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 Certificate, which is an industry recognised qualification. And if that doesn’t satisfy your passion for learning about wines, we also offer a two-year sponsorship programme for the WSET Diploma, subject to passing the entrance exam criteria.
