About Majestic

How we made our name

In 1980 we opened our first store and launched our unique approach of selling quality wine by the mixed case to the British public. Today our network of stores has grown to more than 175, we have a website where customers can access almost all of our products and services and we’ve established Majestic as Britain’s leading wine warehouse retailer.

We’re an ambitious business that never stops evolving. Our store network is fast-growing and we’ve introduced a number of new channels, such as stocking a large selection of fine wine in over one third of our stores, and our commercial team, which operates with our business clients getting Majestic wines into pubs, bars and restaurants.

One thing remains constant and that’s the way we deliver our unique offering. We go the extra mile for customers, providing expert advice from friendly staff and offering free delivery across the UK mainland. And we pull out all the stops for our people with industry-leading training and the career opportunities to take advantage of that.
